bored? this is really interesting. have a look.

The human mind is a wonderful thing. Cognition, the act or process of thinking, enables us to process vast amounts of information quickly. For example, every time your eyes are open, you brain is constantly being bombarded with stimuli. You may be consciously thinking about one specific thing, but you brain is processing thousands of subconscious ideas. Unfortunately, our cognition is not perfect, and there are certain judgment errors that we are prone to making, known in the field of psychology as cognitive biases. They happen to everybody regardless of age, gender, education, intelligence, or other factors. Some of them are well known, others not, but all of them are interesting.

Great advertising

This is a really great blog that deals with still advertising, It shows us what the people actually can do with your product, if the time and money is put towards using it right.

It’s like 7 Eleven are viewing their giant sculpture as akin to a war memorial, built in adverse conditions. Look at those poor tradies who slaved hour after hour (probably no more than 3 without an iced coffee and smoko break) to put together this piece of history. O glorified Slurpee monument, how we shall always commemerate this special day.I think the problem here is that 7 Eleven may have temporarily forgotten it’s audience.

Wine is better than water

It’s true, wine is better than water:

Water: It has been scientifically proven that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli bacteria found in feces, in other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of feces remains a year.

Wine: However, we do not run that risk when drinking wine (or rum, whiskey, beer or other liquors) because alcohol has to go through a distillation process of boiling, filtering and fermenting.

It is my duty to communicate to all of you people who are drinking water, to STOP doing so, it has been scientifically proven that it is UNHEALTHY and BAD for you.

WATER = Escherichia Coli Bacteria (or human feces)
WINE = HEALTH

So there you go, wine is better than water. It’s been proven

Broken window Theory

Ever heard of the broken window theory? I am bored will share it with you:

Last month social scientists in the Netherlands empirically demonstrated a phenomenon observed by policymakers and law-enforcement officials for years. When an envelope visibly containing a five-euro note was left hanging out of a mailbox on a sidewalk, 13 percent of the passersby snatched it up. When the same mailbox was covered in graffiti, however, more than double the number of the pedestrians (about 27 percent) stole the envelope.
